Hey, i have a 2018 Toyota Tundra platinum. Has anyone figured out how to make the side mirrors fold when when you exit the truck and fold back out when you enter? If someone has done this on the 2018 some pictures and instructions would be good!

This may be possible but I have not looked into it. You would have to have accessory power to the mirrors either all the time or whenever the door is opened/closed or locked/unlocked. That would probably take some external logic to accomplish.

I am in the process of doing some other mods to my '19 but may look into this later this year. My Lexus has this and I like the fact that when I lock the doors the fold. This way I can tell if it's locked just by looking at the mirrors.

Same story here....my LX570 has this and I love knowing its locked with a quick glance. Its also nice for tight parking areas or street parking. Following for any additional input or solutions...perhaps some Lexus parts could be modified? Not sure what kind of dedicated power they would need but you could probably buy the OEM Lexus mirror switch too.

My wiring knowledge is limited but could you do it with a relay that triggered from the lock/unlock signal?
