Thanks brother! I've been extremely busy with business so I won't get to my retrofit build until this weekend. I've got all the supplies, parts and paint ready to go.

I have my first headlight full disassembled and ready for paint. It wasn't as bad as I thought to get it apart. Took me about 20 min for first headlight to get it open disassembled and clean out all the old permaseal glue.IMG_8047.jpg

First steps on primer coats are done. Next I'll lightly sand and do a light first coat. IMG_8052.jpg

My grill got powder coating was finished today. The blue came out a lot darker than my wheels. So I have to have the blue powder coat sandblasted to remove the two step powder coat finish. Then the metal will be polished to a mirror finish then go back over it with a transparent blue finish coat. It's a bummer but I don't want to spend this much planning and have the color wrong. Working with transparent powder coat colors is a lot more challenging than a solid based color for sure. IMG_8081.jpg

Here's all the parts going in my truck over the next few days. 4.88 gears front and rear, master bearing kit for gears, Auburn LSD & Fox reservoir 2.0 rear shocks. My truck is going in for Crystaline 3M Tint on the front windshield and Moon roof this weekend. IMG_8089.jpgIMG_8088.jpg

I got my truck back Sunday with the new 4.88 gears and Auburn LSD. It's a big difference on the overall performance. I also notice a difference on the ride quality after installing the fox 2.0 reservoir shocks over the stock pro comp shocks. The 3M Crystaline that I had installed on the front windshield and moonroof does seem to make the truck cooler now. Still waiting on my grill to come back from polisher to send it to powder coater. The headlight retros are on stand bye since I ran short on my attitude black paint for the light trims. So probably a few weeks on them.

So I had to have the outer frame for my Grille re sandblasted to remove the first powder coat job. Then send it to a polisher to polish the stainless steel like chrome. Now it's back at the powder coater to get redone with the transparent blue color to match my wheels. Everything in the chrome finish is going to be the blue powder coat when it's done. It should look bad ass when it's all done.IMG_8279.jpgIMG_8278.jpg IMG_8280.jpg

1Upper, I too am looking to upgrade my rear shocks to the 2.0 DSC versions. Could you give me the part #, or tell me who to contact for them. I called FOX directly and they were not much help and told me to contact BDS for the lengths, collapsed and extended. Then they would find a match but said i would need to re-valve them to my application? I have the BDS 4.5" W/ 2.5 DSC coil overs in the front and non DSC 2.0 in the rears that came with the kit. Thanks.

When I called Fox the first time the guy told me I needed to measure the shock as well. I called back a few weeks later and the next guy I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
