No. The RXT adds 1.75" over stock. The add a leaf that came with my Icon stage 6 added 1.5". So the RXT is 1/4" higher in the rear than the add a leaf which is stiff as hell.

In the past I have even hated on Icon, and I still think King makes the best race shock. But with that said, Icon has been Killing the bolt-on game in my opinion!

let me rephrase, theyre probably great for 90% of the people out there..but smashing hard through rough dirt is not what their design was for

let me rephrase.....they are a huge improvment over stock, but they didnt give me the lift i wanted and were advertised for. they claim +1 over stock and combined with TC shackle you get 1.75 total lift, i barely got 0.5in of lift. the leaf pack contains 2 flat overload leafs similar to to the stock pack but not nearly as thick as the stock flat leaf. these flat leafs while much thinner give you weight carrying capacity but decrease offroad performance by causing the diving board ass or pogo stick rear end when hitting whoops. with all arched leafs you dont get that effect.

when i called deaver i told them i wanted the k37 pack with 500lbs of preload, they said o yes we get this request alot we have had that design before. i told them it wasnt my daily driver and and offroad performance was my main concern. this was not achieved with the u748 pack. this is an overland pack not a performance pack.

the rxt from icon gives more lift, has no flat springs, and is adjustable depending on how much weight youre carrying. i have not driven or seen this pack perform in person..but people with raptors and tacomas seem to like it a lot and just based on design it would appear to fit my needs better. if you go to my instagram there is a vid or 2 of me hitting whoops around 50mph and u can see the rear end bounce up before im even bottomed out, this is caused by the flat springs. instagram is @asshole_RN

if you are overlanding, going camping down fire service roads, and basically not going fast through the desert this pack is a big improvment over stock..im just not happy with how it handles my application and i feel deaver got a lil lazy by just shipping me their overland pack instead of designing the k37 with preload like they have done for others in the past

there is a local leaf spring service company in phoenix, my plan is to remove to the 2 flat springs, rearch the pack and possibly add another arched leaf to give me the lift i want and increase the performance of the rear end. it really sucks to be coming in hot and the front is butter smooth and u know the rear end is going to start bucking

yah by removing the flat leafs and re-arching and possibly adding another arched leaf i should essentially have the rxt pack without the adjustability. fingers crossed

Speaking of custom packs, what’s your take on Alcan? They are close to me and I want extra lift. I’m also carrying weight but I’m more of a crawler rather that High speed desert bomb fest

I just don’t know anyone personally but pricing is in line with the RXTs, maybe even a little cheaper, and they claim an overload and extra arch is in my ballpark
