Super busy day working on the wiring of the Tundra...but installed a switch pros!

Proceeded to install the Baja Designs Amber S8 40" in the Hood

    Love the backlit amber lighting

Is that the switch Pros with the hidden mounting? I went with the other version panel, I was curious if you had a picture of what the backside of the Hidden version looks like.

Did you have a natural pocket there that you fit the switch pros in? How does it possibly look so clean? My platinum is all solid there.

I thought all trims had a recess there, I do too it's almost like it was meant for like a business card holder or something

I may get laughed out of the room here, but I take it that leaving the mud flaps on your Tundra is considered to look dumb and uncool? Admittedly I have not removed mine yet. I assume they are easy to remove?

Idk about dumb or uncool, but I believe the vehicle looks cleaner without them, plus I have sliders on now too and the mudflaps wouldnt work with them. They are functional and help protect the paint on the sides but I'm just not a fan.

You could use the one that screws down with 2 Allen head bolts

And yes it's about 4-5 10mm bolts that hold them on!

Any thoughts on the TSS decal on the truck bed? I have the blazing blue Crew Max SR5 with matte black trim and I am just beginning to customize ( obviously) . I'm trying for a all blue and black look. Imo it will look sleeker without the decals. Any opinion?

    Thank you.

Ok. Thank you for the reply. I may leave the black Tundra on the sides because I just paid $55 for the matte black tail gate Tundra inserts to match, at least for now. But I'm new, so we'll see. Thanks again!!

That truck would look bad ass with the flares and cladding I put on mine! Definitely have to do the leather. That Katzskin looks like good stuff too. I got my from classic soft trim, Pittsburgh pa.. with a custom logo.

Went on a night run to test all the new lighting, loved it! Also some pics coming home this morning

Also liking my SDHQ offroad sliders

This is roughly 42,000 lumens of Baja Designs amber lighting

That's a very sweet build! How difficult was the wiring to install for your light bar and to install the switches? They look great!

Thanks! It wasn't bad at all, I just took my time and made sure all wiring was clean and neat. The switch pros controller fits perfect in that cubby next to the cup holders

Switch Pros makes one that has a really nice Allen bolt attachment that you could use in that place

I seen that but I'd rather have it flush mounted than surface mounted. I'm still going to get switch pros once I get some lights on the rig.

I agree flush mount is better. SDHQ is working on a bezel for a better fit in my location but I'm pretty happy with it for now. It's really snug and after a nice high speed bumpy run it didn't budge.

Side note I did over heat my Baja designs bar and it turned its self off. Let it cool for about 15 and it was fine

    Pat,
Do you have a pic of the backside of the switch pro? I have the Allen one but curious what the other one looks like regarding mounting.
