NorCal meet and greets

I am looking at May 13 unless that is too close for everyone.

 

**For folks who don't want to run the trails**
absolutely don't have to.
Camp is always available (first come first serve basis)
Just grilling up or hanging around the 4 wheel park..

The route to the park is an open dirt path as well if that was anyone's concern.

 

Sounds good to me. Let's see who else can come. Yup, anyone who doesn't want to get their truck dirty can park it and ride with us.

 

Definitley would like to have the same group we had in fremont come out!! if we can't get much we will consider go-karting.
Either Santa Clara. Burlingame or Fremont again.

 

Looks like I might have my sister-in-laws B-day on the 13th. But, nothing has been planned......that I know of. This time of year gets really busy for me as my daughters have a lot of performances.

 

That's fine. Don't worry about it. If we don't have enough people that want to go we can always consider another option.

 

Well, I'm going to need you there Warren. Your truck has to knock out all the branches that gets past Mark's truck before it gets to my truck. Like I said, my schedule is pretty open. Let's see what day Warren is free and try to work around that.

 

Let's see if May 13 works for everyone first and if anyone else would care to join. If not we can always do Hollister another time.

So Go-Kart would be next option.

Then last option is just restaurant and grub/bs.

 

I'll check on plans for the 13th. I don't have to go.....she's just an in-law......and they all know.... I'm an outlaw.

 

Well, in that case, Mark had better do some really good weed whacking 'cause I don't know how to buff out pin stripes.

 

Another Date option is the week after. since the 13th is Mother's day weekend, im sure most folks will have plans..so May 20 is also in consideration..

I think I'm going to try to go on a trip May 26-29. Memorial Day weekend. Bodie Ghost Town? San Bernardino Area? Wonder if the Tahoe area will be dry by then?

 

Bodie is fun. I recommend taking the long back road from mono lake. (dirt road)
Depending on where you go in that area it should be melting. i think they just opened up 88 2 weeks ago.
San Bernardino will have better weather. either or both will be fun!

 

That sounds great. I won't go so far as to say I'll be the Camp Bitch but I'm good at filling coolers with ice. The 13th is out for me since I'm doing a lot of traveling later that week. Carry on, but let's do this at some point...would love to play.

Sorry fellas, Mother's Day weekend is not good for me. And Memorial Day as well. Hollister sounds like a cherry popper to me, count me in. I was in South Lake Tahoe ( Zepher Cove ) a couple of weeks ago. Lots of snow.

How many people do we need to rent our own track?

 

I think it was 9. I will give them a call. it would be a race to reserve.. which means 1 warmup round and then stage and race next one.. I think its about 50-60 though..

Dude, I'm really fast for the first 15-20 minutes. Then I start cramping. After 45 minutes I can barely breathe. And this was about 10 years ago when I was in better shape.
