2016 Tundra 1794 Remote start

    2016 Tundra 1794 Crewmax
    I bought a 2016 Tundra 1794 and ordered it from the factory with a remote starter. Does anyone know how to stop or reprogram the remote starter so it will not shut the engine off when you unlock the doors? I hate that function, and would have never ordered it if I would have known it shut the engine off when you unlock the door. Totally sucks.
    I rent cars all the time when traveling for my job and I get rentals all the time with remote start and not one of them shuts the engine off when you unlock the doors!
    Please tell me how to fix this Toyota screw up!

    Pretty sure it's not interchangeable and that's the way it's setup.

    Yes all factory Toyota remote starts do that, safety reasons from what I hear. Don't think that setting can be changed. Had one on my Camry and hated it. This time around went with a viper 2-way remote start
