When I picked up the sliders at SDHQ on the way to Sedona they only had raw in stock so I had them throw them on to use in AZ. Today I found finally took them off, cleaned them, and painted em. @joonbug you weren't joking they were a pain to take off and an even bigger pain putting them on solo. That driver's side was frustrating :frusty:.

Time for an update. Wanted to get started with some lighting so I picked up a switch pros to make hooking up everything easier. With the help of the homie @osidepunker got it installed and ran up through the sunglass spot. Just used some 3m Velcro to secure it down until I decide how else to mount it but it works for now.

After a couple trips with the camper shell it was time for a change. I loved having it on and sleeping in it was fine, but having to unload gear at camp was annoying, and trying to keep fuel and water from spilling became a chore so it was time to move towards a rack and RTT.
    IMG_1376.jpg
    Bye bye shell...
    IMG_1475.jpg
After I got the shell off I mounted the TC bed stiffeners I picked up and got the bed lined.
    IMG_1478.jpg
    IMG_1479.jpg
Picked up my dirty deeds 8" dump system from Keith the same day my rack showed up.
    IMG_1491.jpg
Got the exhaust installed after fighting with the exhaust bolts for like 20 min in the 110degree heat which was fun. It sounds amazing and is exactly what I was looking for.
    IMG_1495.jpgIMG_1496.jpg
For the rack I just painted it with some flat primer/paint rustoleum instead of powder coating it because I didn't want to spend the cash. Threw it on and mounted the Tepui I picked up. I ordered the "low profile rack" but the tent sits quite a bit higher than I'd hoped. Either way it will do and the rack was super reasonably priced so I can't complain. Also I still have room to move around under the tent to pack and unpack gear which is nice.
    IMG_1497.jpgIMG_1502.jpg
    IMG_1503.jpg

Still have a lot planned for this thing... can't wait for the next trip to use the RTT now

Hey Spolar, what size Methods are you running and why did you ditch the Icons for Methods?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Your truck looks great! I'm looking at the Icons and 315/70s for my 2014 CM now. Do the Methods stick out considerably more with 0 offset vs the +25 of the Icons? Also, I assume the Methods had no issues clearing your brakes?. I'm going to be installing the 2.5 Old Man Emu lift and I'm concerned about rubbing.

No issues with 17” methods lots of guys running them. It’s .25” further out and yes you’ll have rubbing. You’ll need a cab mount chop and have to modify the front. I have an aftermarket bumper so I’m not sure exactly what you’ll have to do but there’s info out there. I still needed a CMC with Icons as well they rubbed in reverse when turning.

    Haven’t done too much lately.

-Still waiting to get the LT installed by Tim at DMZ fab. Ordered ADV front fenders for when I take it in.

-Installed Deaver u748 springs for the rear to go along with ADS bypasses. These are basically a k37 pack but built to handle 400-700lb of load. I still plan on going SUA and either a relocation or LT in the rear but not before I beat on this setup for a while.

-Sold the methods and threw on a set of rock warriors I picked up. Main reason for this is when going LT the added width up front would be a bit much with 0 offset. I wanted to negate that as much as possible. Loved the grids but didn’t want to make tight trails more difficult if I didn’t have to.

-Installed tracks/rings in the bed for keeping all the spare/gear snug off road. Have a second spare wheel waiting to get a tire mounted so I can run 2 spares in the bed.

-Did a little Mojave trip with the boys this past weekend to get some dirt time in.

very nice. did you get new shackles to go with the new pack/ads bypass ? MCM sells an extended ADS bypass. I might go that route later on with the U748 or K37

I'll be making a trip out around Christmas time to the HB area if you don't have your glass by then, our glass is in stock and I can bring it with me so you don't have to pay shipping.

My skeleton load is around 350
    My heavy load about 700

I'm very uninterested in my current setup but don't want to compromise ride down the road in case i remove all the weight. Any recommendations?
