2013 with surprises ...

    Hello,

    I just picked up a 2013 Toyota Tundra SR5 with TRD (Package added at Port) 4WD Double Cab. Loving it overall so far.

    The "surprise" is that the dealer (not a Toyota Dealer) had no idea the truck had the TRD Package. So, when I took it to the local Toyota Dealer to have it inspected to ensure all was well, they ran a report and found that the first owner asked them to add the TRD package at port before delivering it to the dealer for him to purchase. Thus, I believe I received a good deal. It was already a few $$ below NADA. So, with TRD, even more so.

    This is not only my first Tundra, my first Toyota, ... but also my first truck ever! So, it's an experience.

    The thing is, the rims were upgraded to 20in and also have extremely aggressive Baja tires that are huge! Terrible driving on highway and in tight slow turns. And, get this, only 9.5 MPG on the highway!! So, yes, tires are going to be sold (almost new) and more typical good towing tires will be going on ASAP!

    Anyway, I'm extremely happy so far and look forward to chatting with everyone on the forum!

    I have LOTS of questions!
