Did you have to buy 2 fronts? Looks like the rear says lines, plural.

I went out & picked the truck up. Damn thing has new rotors & pads all around. I'm too cheap to scrap new parts so the brakes are on hold until my cheapness is outweighed by my want to have neat-0 rotors. I might do the SS lines.

Seems UAE has a cheap pipeline to Toyota parts. the thermostat is 30 bux less shipped and the cooler is 75.

    Interesting tracking info:

Cooler & thermostat are here. Packaging was a work of art, actual plywood outer box with two interior boxes & a ton of bubblewrap & protection.

Thermostat & cooler are in, in case anyone is wondering, exhausts are hot, touched the cat opening the fill plug to add the extra necessary transmission oil, I'm leaving the thermostat open, it's Pheonix in the summer & I never go anywhere it gets below 60.

The cooler is being held up on a wire tie, waiting for the mount to come in today,

I retained the headlight washers, made the cut outs in the panel, and got the 3d printed blocks to mount sprayer to bottom of headlights.

Did you not have a trans cooler before?

No transmission cooler or thermostat until today.

I would never use the headlight washer. I blocked the hoses off and disconnected the button.

I just added what my 2010 Tundra had.

How difficult was it to install the TRD Skid plate? Did you have to alter anything or did it just bolt on?

The hardest part was keeping it up until I had two bolts in.

The only bolts that lined up were the front two. The rest I had to go through the frame with long bolts & washers.

Luckily I did not need the spacers as I was missing two and there was not really anywhere for them to go.

Waiting for a Valhalla cat theft protection plate. Thanks, classy!

Swapped out two pans worth (9 quarts) going to do it at least twice more, have enough Amsoil for 3, hoping it's clean after 18 quarts.

    Shifting is much improved already.

I finally got the Tundra mount, it's different than the cooler so I had to get creative.

I've probably posted this somewhere else, but I am a strong believer in these tranny flushes.
This is 5 drain and fills from an 02' Sequoia I used to own. I did these when I bought it with 156k miles.
About 4 quarts came out each drain, then I would fill it with that much and take it out around a country block and drain it again. Of course, it was a lot easier since it had a tranny dipstick.

    This is disheartening.

The difference is barely discernable in the cups. Only on the side where it was poured can you tell there is a difference.

    Yeah it takes several.
I plan on doing 2 drains for now at 110k miles. Im going to Florida in about a week from Ohio. Will probably do 2 more drain and fills when I get back. Then I’ll probably do a drain at every oil change.

Trans feels great. Shifting much better and the cooler working.

I like the iat being slightly above ambient!

    Thanks.

I emailed Dobinsons yesterday and asked about my rear springs ordered in April, they said they were unloading the containers & shelving them for shipment hopefully by the end of the week.

Got this yesterday, it's bright but not too bright, the light goes everywhere & it has removable battery packs & is connected to the headband by velcro so it can be cleaned.

The little one takes AAAs I got it in case both the 3k packs are dead.

Looking forward to using it on the next trans fluid R&R.

Just did mine tonight…….3 drain and fills at 110k miles…….mine looked like yours as well……pretty dark.
My third drain started looking reddish so I was happy……wish I would’ve done the clear cup deal to really see the difference but I think it’s a good start!

I love working from home! I am more productive PLUS I get a ton done around the house.

Right now, I'm resetting 20 Win10 machines that are going back to the county funders and r&ring my transmission fluid!
