Looks like the car is coming along nicely but autonation sounds like they should be avoided.

Yes, the Sequoia will be great once these bugs are worked out. I would never go near any AN after this experience but possibly it is a USA Corpus Christi issue.

I am not willing to find out.

    Thanks

Blend Mount & Escort 360c are in.

Captain chairs & 3rd row stowed. It's shocking the amount of room the back rows have. All three have vents for the HVAC & that all recline/slide back & forth.

    I'm shocked, a reasonable response!

    Mr. X,

My apologies for the overheating experience. I certainly had no idea there may have been an issue.

Please send me the bill for the coolant. I will be glad to reimburse you for the purchase of the six quarts of coolant. Again, my sincere apology.

Rene is accurate as it pertains to the keys. We normally will only provide the customer with what we receive from the previous owner. However, in this case I agree that the valet key is insufficient. Please take the vehicle to the nearest Toyota store to you. All I ask is that prior to having them perform any work please submit the estimate via email for my review and approval.

Aside from these issues I hope you enjoy the vehicle.

Here's the video of the overheating.
It's odd, it made me download to watch.

    PANELS!

It's weird, they match the bumper perfectly but seem off with the rest of the truck. The back bumper is the same, I never noticed it before.

Maybe the front bumper has been replaced?

The headlights look good. I want to do it on mine but can't justify the costs.

I'd think that if the carfax had no accidents & nothing looks like it's ever been apart. Also, now that I looked for it the same thing is happening in the back. Maybe it's the way the paint behaves on plastic. No idea.

The old headlights were so messed up I'd be really upset if I did not have these lights.

I don’t know how dealers do it but not everything shows up on carfax. I noticed a few things on my truck a few weeks after purchase Yet it’s entire history is clean from the 1st owner down to the one before me. One of the front bumper retainers was bent in, a small section of the wheel well liner was missing and left hand headlight was new, so I’m very sure some type of front end damage occurred. Your intuition might be correct if bumper paint ain’t matching.

Plenty of people pay for cosmetic damage out of pocket. They take the vehicle to their friend/cousin/uncle who may own or work at a body shop, etc. I would imagine in this type of instance it's not going to show up on a carfax unless it was an accident that involved a police report.

There is nothing out of place or bent. It is possible the bumpers have been painted but mainly I think they didn't use the right color on the panels. I am going to have the dings PDRd Saturday and the rear bumper and scratches repainted so will have the panels properly matched then.

Last pieces of the radio puzzle are here, going to try to install Friday.

There are 6x9's in the front door of the Sequoia, I'll use the mounts for a set of 6.5" Image Dynamics I have in the back doors.

Attempted to install the Kenwood today, got power, no sound, no steering wheel controls using the harness from the 86.

Chatted with Crutchfield and concluded I need these items which I ordered.

While I was in there I installed a Qualcom 3.0 amp dual USB that fits perfectly into a switch blank & cleaned 8 years of dust & gunk as well as the lens over the gauges.

Good news is they are 100% plug & play.

Mirror caps on, driver side fog on. Bad news is I have no power to the relay whoo hoo!

Went through every suggestion I could find, no fogs, passenger side bulb was hanging out of its enclosure, bulb broken. I hoped that was the issue, no luck.

At least I don't have weathered lenses anymore.

I have no power to the fogs, all fuses are good, swapped the similar relay next to the fogs the horn/security system still works, fogs don't.

Tried the pin bend & ground to remove the switch from the circuit, no luck.

Did you check one of the fog light connections with a multi meter? Also you sure the fogs are turned on on the light stalk?
