I am new to Tundras.com and I wanted to share my Tundra Build. I have the 2014 front conversion, 2014 rear bumper and black TRD grille now. Currently painting the 2014 pickup bed and will install in a few weeks.

Couple of questions. How does the bumper fit looking from the side? Also, the Tundra logo, is that just the inserts for the recessed stamp on the 2.5? Looking good

Seen these front end conversions plenty but first i've seen just a rear bumper swap. That looks great, nice work. Have you thought about keeping the red grill surround instead of black?

The front 2014 bumper fits good if you have the 2014 grille otherwise there will be a gap under the 2013 grille. The rear bumper fits a little tight on the sides and scratches the 2013 bed a little so I bought a 2014 bed from the salvage yard and it’s waiting to be painted. I had the rear 2014 bumper for a year and it looked fine from a distance. If you get some thick washers / spacers for the main rear bumper bolts, it won’t scratch the bed from the sides because it needs to be out a little further so it won't touch the pickup bed. The Tundra tailgate logo on the bed are raised metal letters I got from Amazon.

What items were needed to do the complete conversion?

What’s the process on wiring the headlights and fogs?

Did you put vinyl on the taillights?

The best part is you still have the cup holders in the rear door pockets that the rest of us don't have.

I vinyl wrapped the bottom half of the tail lights. The front fenders, grille and hood bolt right into the existing factory location without cutting or drilling. The 2013 hood brackets work but getting 2014 hood brackets would make it more flushed. The headlight wiring is a little tricky but I believe there are conversion wire kits from 2013 to 2014 out there and also YouTube videos to help with wiring. I just tapped into the wires using wire splicers instead of buying a kit. I posted a link of a video that helped me with the wiring splicing.

Would you happen to have any suggestions on plug and play adapters for the harnesses?

What would you say is a ballpark for this type of conversion?

If you get a package deal at the Toyota recycle for the front end, it would probably be the best route since you can get it all at once. Prices may vary on the conversion but my local recycle dealers was aware of the conversion. As for the headlight, there are different kits since the aftermarket headlights come with different type of connectors depending on if you get running lights or not.

    The parts list

    538120C050 left fender

521160C110 left fender extension panel support
521150C110 right fender extension panel support
531000C310 grill - this one is chrome

I drew a wiring diagram based on the wiring videos. Our 2013 uses one H4 adapter for the driver's side headlight & one for the passenger headlight. The H4 has to be rewired and it has to be split into a 9006 and 9005 connector for the passengers side as well as the driver's side in the 2014 Tundras.
