After a heavy snow I tried to use my wipers and the linkage to my wiper on the passenger side came off. In an attempt to fix it I slid the linkage back into place but in it fell back off in no time. The only thing I found in the cowl was a washer that seemed to go on the spline.... no other piece that looked like it would hold it in place. Long story longer, does anyone out there know what I might be missing to hold the linkage onto the spline that goes to the wiper arm?

    thanks.

I think it's just the metal piece whose tip goes into the hole in the in the blade, then the lower side of the blade swings back and locks onto the metal arm (you should hear the click).
