    hello everyone,

3 days ago I purchased a 2011 Tundra TRD Rock Warrior. It’s awesome. I drove it home almost 4 hours with no issues. Now home when I parked it I “turned it off” took the keys out of the ignition yet the engine stayed running.

I finally managed to turn it off by removing a relay. After reinserting the relay the truck turned on and off fine. After some minutes I drove it again and when I parked again the engine wouldn’t turn off.

Does anyone have any idea what’s going on? I just bought this a couple of days ago.

    Thanks everyone

I'm not a tech but it sounds like a faulty ignition perhaps?

Did you buy from a dealership or private party?

It was a dealership. It was bought “as is” so it’s turning into a real bad experience real quick considering I just got it lol.

That said....those hours I drove it...it’s an amazing truck.

You might check the starter contacts. One of our Land Cruisers had the issue as the starter was going out the contacts would stick on and restart the truck.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
All i can think of off the bat is faulty ignition switch. Not recognizing that you switched it off.
