Not a good price for an 8 year old car with high mileage. Renegotiate the price, or find another with less miles. That’s just my opinion.

If its super clean, no accidents, well maintained, then yes that is a good deal IMO. If the background is kind of shady, multiple owners, obvious body work, I'd walk at that price. It doesn't have the 5.7 V8, which is an option I'd really look for, especially if you are going to tow heavy. I was looking at trucks for similar prices with similar mileage, but double cabs, which tend to be a bit cheaper. Found a really clean 2008 with 130k miles, $13,000 double cab, 2wd, but walked because it had the 4.7 V8 and I didn't know if the timing belt had been changed(4.6 V8 in that truck doesn't have a timing belt)

Wish i could have found one at that price 2 years ago. I paid 26K for my Platinum crew max with 73K miles 2 years ago. Best I could find in a Platinum at the time in Phoenix AZ area. Now I'm at 100K and still loving it!

Actually very fair if clean and decent history. of coarse any thing lower always better. Book it out on KBB and NADA. I bet it's in range.

    NADA looks good.

NO LONGER HAVE A TUNDRA... Waiting
How is a Toyota with 129,--- miles HIGH Mileage? I thought 100K was break in! lol... sheesh. I keep seeing contradicting messages around here.

Anyways, real comparison would be what the market will bear or what KBB trade in would be (minus 2-3 grand). That's what a dealer would do, it's called "black book" or auction price. I learned that when I traded my 2016 Silverado 1500 DC in.

Seems reasonable. I paid ~$15 for a 2007 4Runner that had 125k on it back in 2014. Never had an issue with it and we're nearing 190k. These things hold value. The one ding against it is 4x2. If that had 4x4, in CO, it'd easily be running north of $20k. If it checks the boxes for her, should last forever.

I am not saying that a Tundra with 129K miles is a piece of junk. However, from a financial standpoint, most financial institutions won't finance any vehicle with more than 80K miles. So, if someone is going to spend $20K ($14.5K + TTT), it would be worthwhile to buy a newer model Tundra with less miles. I currently have two Tundras. One is a 2010 and the other a 2017. my 2010 has 208K miles and it runs just like new. So, I would never knock any Tundra with only 129K miles on it. Down here in South Florida, they are selling similar tundras with similar age and miles, for an average of $12K. I don't know how the market is over in Texas, so, it may be the very best deal in that region.
