Hello everyone. I love my tundra but starting to get into some issues with it. Hopefully came to the right place.. LOL
I have some idiot lights on and flashing. I also pulled some codes. Trying to really narrow down the parts I need since there are a lot of expensive ones. Don't want to be a parts changer to solve a problem. Any one know who may help?

The codes I pulled were. 1) ABS Inlet valve coil LF circuit short to ground (c1201-ABS Code)
    2) Secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor circuit low bank 1 (p2432-engine code)

I had this issue on my 08 DC. The dealership quoted me for replacement of a specific part, which I cant remember the name, and a total cost of $3400. This included the part cost of about $1500. I was at the dealership for a recall when they looked at the issue, I had been putting this off driving with the lights on or flashing. I declined the service and went to my local repair shop that I normally use. We procured the part the dealer quoted (used) for about 1/2 the cost. This unfortunately didn't fix the issue with the dash lights. They kept the truck two more days and worked through the electrical system and eventually cleared the lights and errors and I had no issues for about a year then I sold the truck. The total cost at my local repair shop was about $1400, including installation of the expensive part that didn't cure the problem. Unfortunately I sent all the repair paperwork with the truck so I cant offer other details. However it may be worth consulting a shop that is skilled in electrical repairs to diagnose the flashing lights etc. Good luck with your repair.

Hey Joe, the AIP'S were notorious on the 2nd Gens. I have a 08, and they failed @ 66k. 66k later problems returned at about the same mileage :monocle:. I decided to go with the Gen 2 Hewitt Bypass kit. My bank 1 was stuck open , and pressure switch was also bad. Parts came to $600, and I installed it myself. There are cheaper kits, but the Hewitt seems to be the way to go. Hewitt also has great customer service. Here's a link, you can find some good info on there. $4-6 hundred is a lot better than 3k+. Good luck

Welcome from the wet side of WA.

For that second code, the Hewitt bypass kit is your best bet. Price has gone up a bit since I put it on my old truck (was around 200k miles for me), but it was a lot less than getting the whole AIP system redone.
