I know on 2008-2018 to completely disable traction control you have to hold the trac button twice for 4 seconds. Do you have to do the same on an 07? Or can it be done by just pressing and holding once?

    Thanks!

I've always pushed it twice like everyone else but quite frankly the disable lights come on after pushing just once after the initial setup push. (If that makes sense.)

With out a set up push, can you push and hold for 4 seconds, release, and then push and hold again for 4 seconds? Does this disable all traction control in doing these two pushes and releases?

OK.......Went out and.....no set up push required. Push once for 4 seconds, release, push and hold for 4 seconds. Done.

Copy so it just like 08-18 then. Thank you! I guess the guy that was telling me he could disable everything with 1 press and hold didn't know what he was talking about. Thanks!

I just watched a video of a guy with an 07, one press and hold and he gets the trac off light and the light with the car and the skid marks both on after he releases after holding for 4 seconds. Then when he presses and holds again and release he gets the same 2 lights left on... so everything looks like it's disabled with just 1 press and hold. why would it be any different then yours? Are you sure your takes two? @matluth

I went back and and did it again earlier with one 4 + second push. Engaged 4hi. Nannies off. Wasn't sure until verifying what would happen in 4 wheel mode. One push only it is! :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:
