Sent a message to you guys via instagram, but i'll go ahead and chime in here. Looking to replace my leafpacks soon and was wondering if there are any other users with reviews and feedback on these MUIR MD leafpacks after some mileages put on them? Also any user running the MD 6/1 setup? I'm usually little to no weight in the bed besides 1 spare and a 1.5 ton jack unless out for camping then i'll load up the bed no more than 500lbs. Want to see if anyone is running a similar bed weight as I am.

@blenton has a write up, but he’s running considerably more weight than you are

I may be running them on my other tundra soon in the lighter duty configuration. I still have a camper shell and bed slide in that truck so not bone-stock empty, but judging by how well behaved the full leaf pack was with just the camper shell and bed slide in it, I expect the 6+1 configuration to be a great setup for more stock rides. Even with it fully sprung and stiffer, IMO it behaved better than a stock pack in that it was less jittery and more composed all the way around. The ride height was taller with the extra spring and will most likely add a little bit of lift on a stock setup with the 6+1 configuration.

I know that's not direct knowledge with the lighter setup (yet) but the leaf pack is pretty new; I was the first to get my hands on the production leaf pack, AFAIK, so there may not be a lot of folks with them installed.

Also, phone, email, or @Archive may be a better way to reach Archive Garage, in that order, than Instagram.

gotcha. thanks for your insight and response. I use to run deavers the u748 version but found that just a bit too stiff, but it also didnt last as long as I thought it would when fully loaded some times and going on some sendy trails. Currently on the Icon RXT and the 2nd option setup was kind of like how the deaver ended up, arched and negative so I added the extra leaf back in.

Even though only time will tell, I am impressed that these springs haven't appeared to sag one bit since I initially installed them and broke them in. Considering the amount of weight on them, thats a huge win to me. I've had up to an additional 1000 lbs in tongue weight on them along with the weight already in the bed, routinely putting 4-600 lbs of tongue weight on them just about every week since I've had them. I know that's not what you plan to do with them, but it speaks to their quality of build.

The most surprising thing to me, though, was how much better they made the truck ride.

Call up Archive and chat with them about it. They are good to work with and very knowledgeable. My opinion in dealing with them was that they would rather get you set up with right product for your application, than just sell you something to make a buck.

We have a customer with a DC (lighter than CM) and no weight who is running them in MD 6/1 config and he's happy with it.
He tried the HD 7/1, it was too stiff, which makes sense at no weight
