The tires were rubbing on the frame so I put on some 1.25” spidertrax wheel spacers. Liking the slightly wider stance.

Found out pretty quick that by pushing the tires out that they now rub on the pinch weld. So hammered that down and did the pinch weld mod. Eliminated all rubbing!

I hate daylight running lights so I disabled them by disconnecting this cable by the battery. Taped it up so it isn’t hanging loosely

Cut my tailpipe back a bit. If any one else has done this how far back did you go and how did it sound? Thinking might cut it back farther

Loving the way the Bilstein 5160s feel on and off road. Highly recommended, so smooth

I'm sure I'll be the first of many saying this. Great looking ride. I'll always love the first gen. First one "I" had was an '05 limited TRD Off Road crew cab Limited we got for our oldest son. He turned into a guy who needed to mod. He wanted to move on and we let him. I loved that truck. I love my '15 but your rig is looking great and on an excellent path. Bets of luck and I look forward to watching the build. Cheers!

Sounds the same no increase in noise, I cut it right by the hanger. I wouldn't mind a little bit deeper sound and im not sure cutting back farther could achieve that.

Haha you must have a pretty nice truck as well ;)

Thanks! Wasn't sure if there was too much slack. I decided to start in the tailight and work backwords towards the diff. I appreciate all the photos showing me the route!

If the hose weight begins to drop it or rub it around, you can always take some up slack. Way better than not having slack and pulling on it at droop.:)

Exactly my thought, would rather have extra and trim some slack if needed then having to little and having to buy another 10ft of hose

Nice looking ride! I have 2 question, one, do you have pictures of the weather tech floor mats? I'm thinking about ordering some but I heard the fitment may be off.
Second question, what is the rear diff breather mod? Is the stock one inferior?

I will get a pic of the floor mats soon, in my opinion they fit great! The basic idea for the breather mod is to relocate it to a higher point on the vehicle to prevent water getting into the diff from water crossings etc. I used the stock breather and routed it up into the top of the tail light. It is a very cheap mod to prevent an expensive fix, I may never need it but better to be safe than sorry. And it only took about 10 mins.

I ended up spraying the Billy’s with some MavCoat steel shield. Hopefully this keeps them from corrosion and rust.

The coilovers came today! Waiting on some UCAs then I will begin working on the front end.

I will most likely be doing the install of coilovers and UCAs next weekend with a full write up on how it went with plenty of pics.

Good luck! I'm assuming they sent you a punch tool to adjust the coilovers. It's not completely necessary, but I recommend a spanner wrench for adjusting them. The punch tools seem to easily round out the holes on this type of collar design.
