    My first Toyota vehicle...

I drive the old vehicles in the family and my 2001 Chev Suburban was just rotting away to the point where I needed to get rid of it. I took a flyer on this truck as I slid underneath it and there just wasn't ANY corrosion. I'm coating the frame to try to preserve it as long as possible as those frames are famous of course...

I'm unique in Wisconsin as I don't care about 4 wheel drive on these old vehicles and the fact this one is a 4x2 didn't leave it in high demand. Going from the 16 yr old Suburban with 175K to a 16 yr old Sequoia with 225K was about the last thing I had planned on doing... It's actually a little taller than the Suburban was...makes tossing a 50 lb kayak on the roof a bit more interesting...

White with the odd gold emblem package (it's an SR5 ?!?).
I've never been a big fan of this body style...
Didn't come with the 3rd seat...
    4.7L V8 with a timing...belt.
Fuel gauge spontaneously zeros out periodically, no matter how much is in the tank.
Leather seats needed some serious help, and they bounced back better than I thought they could with a saddle care product called 'Horseman's One Step'.

Basically a stock unit. 4 years from qualifying for Collector plates, but it runs great, quiet, does everything I need it to do.
