My serpentine belt is either bad or their is a bad bearing in one of the components. I went to take the old belt off but it will not budge. The adjuster assembly may be damaged. By the way what is the going price , dealer or independent shop for changing the timing belt and water pump?

Anywhere from $700-1200 for the timing belt depending on your area, make sure they replace the tensioners too while it's apart.

On the serpentine issue, a whole new tensioner is around $50
