    All this over a domestic.

The guy came over across the street for help, said he wanted to kill cops.

    Still on the run.

One officer was on o.t. and set to retire in December after 35 years of service. The other a female officer with a year on who just came back from maternity leave....heartbreaking...

Ugh. This makes me sick to my stomach. These idiots think it would be better without cops. I seriously wish you could register somewhere where you would be flagged as a LEO supporter residence vs the non registers (e.g. The idiots who think LEO's suck) that way cops could pick and choose which house to respond to.....see how those idiots make it without cops coming to bail them out of situations they can't help but get their moronic asses in. It's like an insect in your truck. Smart enough to get in too stupid to find the way out

On one of the AR-15 sites that I am active on, there is a guy that posts all the fallen officers names and a short description of them. For the past several years that I have paid attention to what he does, this is a common occurance that is just now been put into light by media.

I actually hate when this guy posts up. 9 out of 10 times it is due to a fallen hero. I am glad he honors these heros by telling their story.

I grow sicker by the day where these situations are concerned. Prayers sent to these families as well.... People who are more concerned with why police are not "warm and fuzzy" should have to walk a mile in their shoes. Just about every time some asshat screams that they were treated unfairly by the police, there is evidence that they refused to follow police instructions. Why the hell can't people do what they are instructed to do and cooperate instead of being obstinate? Not saying this is at the root of all police overreactions, but certainly the vast majority I see. I'll shut up now...

My cousin is an officer and often on my mind. I've had the pleasure of joining him in a ride-along for a day and it was something else.

Thoughts and prayers go out to each who serve and especially those who've given more than we should ever ask.

After 20 years on the job I can honestly say that a vast majority of these "high profile cases" are a result of the suspects failure to submit to lawful authority along with the belief that they are not required to submit to legal authority claiming racism as the sole motive. This is such crap. This in turn escalates a lawful contact every time. I am convinced the outcome would have been way different had they submitted (Michael Brown, Eric Gardner, Freddy Gray to name a few)..It's not to say that law enforcement has never made mistakes and if we do then we should be held accountable. This growing trend of violence toward law enforcement perpetuated from the whitehouse on down. It will get much worse before it gets better. So please
keep our profession in your prayers. Stay safe and be vigilant.

The bigger question is...do they care? I guess police officers are not a group that the DOJ or some other government entity will go to bat for.

She should have said that she was....ah forget it.

May not be read, but let them know how pathetic I thought their inaction was against this moronic display of discrimination was.

Love to see how people would react if police officers refused to go to that Kroger if there was some sort of criminal activity going on there. I'm sure they'd want the LEO's service then!

Ok, I just left my comments for their CEO on their site link form. I'm sure they could care less whether or not I ever shop in another Kroger's or not but I sure feel better after telling them what I think of them. Come on people, the form doesn't take long to fill out!
