Just out of paper tags and a business' umbrella dented my bedside. I want to ensure that all decals are replaced EXACTLY as placed at TMMTX. Does anyone have access to the Toyota guides on decal/emblem placement for 2017 Tundra DC?

    Ouch!! That has to hurt.

Just wondering...are you dead set on keeping the decals. Some guys like to remove them and get that "clean" look. If you like them, as most people do, then i might even suggest lowering them a bit from factory height. To me they seem just a tad bit high, but that's just my opinion. My camper shell overlapped mine on my Tacoma and it looked silly.

Great color by the way!! Double cab or CrewMax? Looks like DC bed length from this angle

X2 on the ouch and ditto on the great color choice. That sucks. The only consolation is that it wasn't a hit and run.

Only reason I noticed was 'cause of your post. Otherwise I never would've figured it out.

Sorry to hear about the dent bud. When you order factory decals like the bedsides they usually have guidelines on the backside of the decal. This allows you to align it with the rear taillights. This way ever Tundra has the decal in the same placement. If you want to have flared fiberglass bedsides you would have to cut that portion out.

I swear they used thinner metal on the 3rd gen beds. My bed is all dinged up, and I have no idea what from. My 2016 tundra looks worse in one year then my 2010 did after six years.

Thanks, I like the white too. My '13 DC was silver and I did not care for that color too much.

Anyway, I used to work at TMMTX and had access to Toyota's intranet. There was so much cool info about placement and thickness of sound deadening pads, emblem locations, and decals or rock guards, etc. I'm no longer with Toyota, but I thought perhaps somebody working at a dealership might know how to obtain these?

I honestly think it's a cat jumping up on my truck, because there's little scratches where there is like three dents. All on the drivers side bed near the cab. I just cant believe a cat could dent my truck like that, but I have no other explanation.

You could just measure what you've got now and then place your new decals in the same location..

Any OEM Decals for the bedside will have points of reference for where to line up the decals. They should use the distance from the taillight and bedside for placement. Look at the photo below for reference.
