I have a 3G TRD OR (Bilsteins) and am looking at options for a mild lift, about 2". I tend to like the look better than taller lifts.

My experience with Bilsteins is that they ride stiffer than I like. I don't mind a bit of body roll, it is a truck after all, and hate harsh response on cracks/bumps/rocks at low speed. I'm never doing high speed washboards or anything rally-esque. I'm in SW MT with rough winter roads, mostly on pavement, but plenty of fire roads in the summer. I rarely tow and probably carry ~1k when going on adventures.

SO, my thinking is that a linear shock is probably the better choice.

Been looking at Eibach 2.5R - they're priced so much better than most reputy brands - but it sounds like (anecdotally) they'd be closer to the digressive nature of Bilsteins. Fox 2.5 is also on the list, the cost and maintenance interval being the only negatives I'm seeing. It seems like they'd give me the ride I am looking for but perhaps overkill? Not sure about other brands like Dobinsins, ADS, OME, Kings ($$$?). Not interested in dealing with Icon as a company again.

Anyone have any input or recommendations here? Am I on the right track
