I bet that was fun to pull up next to a car and pull away from them with a dumb founded look on their face.

    It was!!!
I've since, rebuilt everything and it is a normally aspirated sb400 now ... still has balls but not like when it had the SC.

I can’t get over how much more power and torque my Tundra has now! My truck is showing 23.3-23.6 MPG after driving 220 miles!! I still need to hand calculate it. I don’t think that is correct but I know it’s definitely getting a lot better gas mileage. Judging just by how far I drove on a lot less gas than before the tune, injectors and fuel pump. Still can’t wrap my head around the MPG now! I don’t get how it went up that high. I know the battery and computer being reset changes everything but I only used a little bit of gas compared to before.

If that mpg is real........that's insane. And I bet you weren't driving like an old lady either.

When I got in my truck is was 21.6 mpg. After all the highway driving it ranges from 23.3-23.6. I’ll update on my hand counted MPG after I get a couple tanks of fuel run through it. The tuner did a bunch of stuff to get it to where it is now.

The difference in my Magnuson SC setup now after all the new upgrades is night and day! I’ll take a clearer photo later but you can see at 80 mph my Tundra is only doing 2,000 rpms. It drives so good now! The engine is barely working at highway speeds now. Plus the mpg is amazing! 0F2D8EF3-D36B-4FB1-BEAE-F132129F971E.jpg

I'm doing my gears soon, and I can't wait to feel the difference. I know I'm going to say the same thing... Why didn't I do this earlier?!

0F2D8EF3-D36B-4FB1-BEAE-F132129F971E.jpg Are these the guages you are using?

I'm looking for a pair similar or something as effective. I like the digital read outs for ease of seeing it at a glance. Any recommendations? And where did you try into the truck for these? I know there is a boost port on the driver's side of the SC, did you use that, or go somewhere else? Thanks.

Those are the two gauges that I have. I have the boost hooked up to the port on the SC.

Long tube headers on a natural aspirated motor can add around 50hp and 89 lbs of torque. A tuner can help with power and gas mileage.

If you do a SC on a non flex engine I would first do exhaust and leave the headers alone at first. The long tube headers change the tune a lot. So if you want an easier and more cost affect route don’t do the long tube headers on a SC.
