Hey there folks! I've owned my 2006 DC only since 2020 but thought I'd finally go back and join enthusiasts the old fashion way...forums. A lot has happened in the first 2 years of owning my rust bucket but a little summary is I bought a beautiful truck uptop, half dead underneath. Had no previous experience or knowledge of any kind on trucks. Pictures will tell you how fast I needed to learn. I also found I had a passion for electricity.

    Hope people still do forums over Facebook Groups. See ya around!20220124_005813.jpg 20211224_161903.jpg 20211224_165728.jpg 20220125_201602.jpg 20211224_203917.jpg 20211224_173324.jpg 20211224_221943.jpg 20211224_172306.jpg 20211224_162456.jpg 20220125_222752.jpg 20220125_013412.jpg 20220124_212415.jpg

Wow, those pics went from horror show to breathe deep. Was the rust dealt with or brushed and covered?

Most likely dealt with but we will see how long it last as it should of fell off the jack stands months ago had I not done a thing. I reviewed my work several times and found many mistakes and had to repeatedly start over. 90% of the work was just scraping, degreasing, cleaning. Had to chip off a bit of rustoleum from every section during the painting process to double check if it was rotting faster or if zinc slowed it down. Seems to be working.
