I recognize those crimpers. The dual color handles are a giveaway.

Great day yesterday. Truck pulled some of the stumps I could could not dice up into a pile. (up an incline, in the snow) Those cheap RockyMountain tires are pretty good

Yup, I had that exact pair when I worked at the car audio shop in my earlier years. Current pair is blue-gripped but nearly identical.

I almost trashed em, but I figured I'd keep em incase I needed to crimp something and didn't wanna get mine out of my truck.

Factory spare, like new, never used. Completely original, tire was made in 2002. $1000, I know what I’ve got, no low ballers.:rofl::rofl:

I'm throwing in the towel on Donut and calling the experts. I changed the slave cylinder and still have no pedal. I went to bleed the master but the bleed nipple is back up under the cowl. When the boy pressed it that thing was moving everywhere. Probably has a good inch of wiggle. And it's missing a bolt on the firewall. Ugh. I can't wrigle my ass up behind the dash to even feel it. I'm sending it to my buddy. Fuck it.

I don't think it's ever been lowered before. The cable looks brand new.

    Vintage dirt!

I never said it was usable, only that it's original.

I went riding for the first time since my daughter was born in August. Great day for it. On the way home I passed a younger guy in a double cab and he gave me a big thumbs up. Usually I see them driven by seniors that couldn't care less.

Yes I do at times. Ideally, I'd have one of each. I like how quiet the e bikes was for riding around my neighborhood without bothering anyone or drawing attention. Plus the instant torque and light weight.

The last time I researched it, the eRide Pro SS was one of the best available. It seems they have a new version coming out. The tech on these bikes is changing rapidly.

Even had 9 psi of vintage air in it. I’ll be buying a new spare with my next set of tires.

I keep my spare with the valve stem facing down and check it every couple months or so. I still have my original spare but I swapped it for a starfish rim with matching size tire. Think it's less than 10 years old so a good spare.

My spare is shaped in a way that I can't flip it. The hanger won't sit flush against it.

The starfish wheels will do it. Guess I can't say for sure on any others.

Mine had the valve facing down, just been lazy. Also usually have a pump of some kind with me. Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve inflated a spare on the side of the road with a bicycle pump. :anonymous:

You need some Dickno in your life.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNKHRLF3

I installed one last week and poked it thru one of the holes in the tire so I can fill without dropping it.

Then found my spare wasn't why the ABS light was on. It was on because I had the tires at 30psi, intentionally. Had do a TPMS reset, and drive around to make it register 30psi as the new baseline.

My mechanic texted me back. They'll come pick it put next week. I'm so tired of this car. Every other week it needs something else. Haven't driven it in 6 months and it's still fighting me.

I gave mine a light wipe down with some PB Blaster because that's what was handy under the truck.
    A97E6A77-C709-47F7-B60B-82AACFFDA1CE_1_105_c.jpg
A little surface rust on the winch mechanism, but the cross member is almost as mint as the spare tire. Everything else under there is mainly dirt and over spray from me hitting all the nuts and bolts with PB Blaster a few days ago.

I pulled the rubber exhaust hanger off and lubed all three holes with grease and put it back on correctly. See how long it lasts, my exhaust is always bouncing around back there going over speed bumps.
