My GP never got to that point, but it damn sure started knocking like the POPO was at the door. I only had the 3100, but I wish that I had the supercharged 3800 GP.

Th interior was pretty roomy. My information screen never worked, so it probably would have told me that I had some issues popping up. Ignorance is bliss until it's not :mad:

I worked with a guy that had MINT Bonneville with less than 100k miles. He inherited it from his grandpa. It had zero issues. He traded it in for a new car like an idiot. I tried to convince him to keep it but he had to have "something new". It wasn't good timing for me but I wish I would have bought it off him. I don't think he got shit for it on trade.

Welp... I really want this truck, but have been faced with another big decision. We were recently selected as part of a Workforce Housing program and were offered a newly built home at 1/2 price in my PRICY home town. Likely going to be jumping on the offer which means setting aside buying a new vehicle until all is said and done.

That seems like a very valid reason to put off buying a Tundra. Hopefully once you're settled in your new home a truck with fewer question marks will find you.

My concern is always the fade and smear. I remember I had blue letters on tires in the past and if put them inside, but when I rotated tires, I could see the blue was all smeared, so I made the right choice.

Negative, just the base model. But like I said, comfy as can be, and a decent amount of power too.

Vessel JIS screw drivers, you can get them off Amazon. They work so much better than trying to use the wrong style of screw driver in a JIS head. Even a cheap set of JIS bits will work better than high end phillips in JIS heads.

It didn't make it anywhere near my outlandish guess, but it also didn't sell.

    Screenshot 2025-11-23 at 10.57.12 AM.png

If we're going with Price is Right rules @Jack McCarthy guessed closest without going over.

But given that $17K wasn't enough for the seller, I think Assdog's second guess was still best...

nope. There’s supposed to be a M6 screw that holds it down flush.

I would be all for Tennessee having a state inspection to get vehicles like this off the road. Wow.

I do not see how to order anything from that store? What I missing. The Amazon suggestions are good. I was hoping to find a store more local that I could go to and purchase JIS screwdrivers but that doesn't seem to be possible.

Vessel Tools makes JIS screwdrivers that double as impact drivers. They can be ordered from Vessel Tools USA or potentially bought on Amazon if available.

I've never come across them in a store in America. Even motorcycle shops don't stock them, which is annoying because older Japanese motorcycles are nothing but seized JIS screws all over the engine. At least Amazon stocks them, most hardware stores only acknowledge Phillips and maybe Pozidriv.

Have my mom’s Lexus at school with me just for a couple days, she needed the truck.
    IMG_5630.jpg

I left the thing unlocked, in my own driveway, at 9:30pm ish, for not even 20 minutes and it got rummaged through. This is a safe area. I’m just shocked.

They didn’t take anything, as there wasn’t anything to take, but like what the fuck. I didn’t lock it since I knew I’d be driving it again in 20 minutes. I was even in the kitchen overlooking the driveway the entire time. My own fault for being lazy.

This is honestly my first time ever directly dealing with thieves/vandals/etc. I grew up in a pretty privileged area as a kid and it wasn’t something I ever had to worry about. Stuff like this has crossed my mind plenty of times before and it’s made me feel exactly the way I’d imagined, just worse.

At least the car wasn’t damaged, that would be really really bad.

I used to leave my Tacoma unlocked in my driveway, because I didn't think anyone would 1. Walk up my long driveway and 2. Want to break into a 2003 Tacoma in 2015-ish.
But I forgot I lived across from a large public park and it was the first night of summer. I know it was kids, because the only thing they stole was my Gerber spring loaded flip knife. They left the ~$10 in change in the cup holder and the carton of Camel menthols. They also left all my pay stubs and bank statements, various truck maintenance paperwork, etc... just tossed all of it in the back seat.
Tweekers would have taken all that and probably tried to commit identity theft.
Anyways, I never leave my shit unlocked within city limits anymore.

Shit sucks. At least they didn't steal or break anything of yours.

I caught one of those guys on my Ring spotlight camera but I’m guessing they never found him. They basically go door to door and just check for unlocked vehicles and what they could grab. Went through the car two units over from me and a guy down the block who was an electrician had a lot of his tools stolen.

Our neighborhood in Alamogordo, NM had that happening pretty regularly. We were out walking the dogs around 6am and saw some sketchy people trying to hide between houses. By the time we got closer, they had disappeared down the back alley. People were catching different people on their cameras in driveways. We always reported to police and they actually caught about 8 different people in the year we were there. I have always locked my doors, even when we lived in base housing, to make sure no bored teens ever got the chance.

I did have the back window of my Odyssey shot out by a bb gun right after Christmas in Albuquerque. Our neighbor's Sienna had a mark on their window as well as a hole in the taillight. Their driveway was sloped a little bit more and angled the window more to deflect the bb. Mine was intact until I closed my door after starting it and I heard it shatter into a million pieces.
