It’s for an RCLB anyway. Great shell at a great price and add is incorrect, it will fit all the FGT RCLBs. If I had one of those I would jump on this one.

Yeah, that’s a sweet shell and great price. I’d be tempted to swap mine for that. Windoors are nice but having more height from the bed floor is too. And at that price you could repaint.

Hopefully someone can help here. Iv been having an issue where the latches on my folding/drop down rear window keep breaking. The window has 3 latches. One of the three is always breaking after a camping trip. Iv been replacing them with Home Depot window latches. Below is an Amazon link to the identical style iv been buying. Topper is a snugtop

The length, at 78", suggests it's made for an access cab, if they measured correctly.

I personally wouldn't pay $450 for a cap that took a hit on the corner, admittedly leaks and needs re-sealing, and have swaths of paint peeling off. Jason isn't exactly a bigger-name brand, so it may be difficult to find the parts you need to restore it, although Jason is still in business and may have parts you need, you just have no control over the cost...

Hey, can you do us a favor? Click over here, find the "Vehicle One-line Description" box, and put in your:
    • Year
    • Cab type (AC, DC, or RC for access, double, regular)
    • Engine (V6 or V8)
    • Drivetrain (2WD or 4WD)
    • Trim (SR5, Limited)
    Example: 2004 AC V8/4WD SR5

This'll help so we can give you warnings next go-round on caps. And if you're actively shopping right now, be sure to catch this reply for "lessons learned" by all of us on here.

Appreciate the response. Updated truck status. Unfortunately there's a "southern California tax" so everything including the air we breathe is more expensive here. At first glance of the pics it looks to fit his DC pretty well, I have a DC as well. I'm also thinking of repainting my truck so if I have to do the camper as well thats fine with me. I'll check out that link, thanks, yea the seals worry me, although it doesn't rain much here, unsure how much that'll cost to fix/if I even can

That 2nd link will give you everything you need to know if you check it out.

We've seen the west coast tax (be happy, seems even worse in the PACNW, I think), but that's still spendy. I personally would stick with Leer, ARE, Snugtop, or CTC (Century), personally. There are quite a few brands out there to choose from, but the ones I just listed off seem to have the bet fitment and looks, and none of them have that harsh diagonal angle at the back door.

I ended up getting it, fits great, maybe less than an inch hanging over but hardly noticeable. I'm happy!

Only the engine bay (to see leaks/issues faster) and the interior (I can't stand slobs with disgusting truck interiors). My paint decided to give up the ghost so it might get hosed off once in a while. Makes me feel less concern about the Texas pinstripes she gets.

Yes. I like clean, neat, organized. I'll get my truck dirty but I'm not going to leave it that way for months. Our house is the same way.

I just hose mine down, maybe drop handful of quarters at the self wash down the road, and sometimes wipe down and vacuum the interior. The paint is crap on both my tundras.

I really need to clean my topper carpet. I have no clue what the best tactic for that one is. It definitely has a …. Smell.
