Thinking of selling my 03 Tundra SR5 and buying a brand new 1794 Tundra....
Are the new Tundras as reliable as the my current truck?

As reliable? Maybe. As trouble free? Probably not but depends who you ask I suppose.

Cant be. More to go wrong.

Have owned Lexus and Toyota for a number of years. My opinion is up until about 2000 toyota was on the very top of there game.
Then have slowly gone down hill a little. Had the dependability and rep. And then tried to gain more profits with lower quality.
Bad frames. Bad quality interior components in Toyota and Lexus. Sticky or cracking dashboards and door panels. Things that would have never happened before.

Not just Toyota. Honda, Mitsubishi and even Mazda had a good run in the 90's. Some of the best cars money can buy, all made some really great cars. And then there's Nissan. WTF happened? The Q45 was a beast. 300ZX twin turbo, Sentra SER. All memorable sports cars.
Then came a new century and all of the above decided to play the Ford, Chrysler and GM game. What a shame.

It really makes me saddened. I wish i was born earlier so i could of had an established enough income to buy a well maintained 90s toyota pickup. Because nowadays who in their right mind would sell one..

The Nissan hardbody trucks were good also.

Had to look that up, I'd never heard of it. I assumed it came with two horses and a year's supply of hay.

Or maybe one of those models that sells well in other countries, that they're now bringing to the US.

My dad bought a brand new Tundra in 2018. I think he has around 30k-40k which obviously isn't a lot but he hasn't had a single hiccup. It's his daily driver and during camping season, he pulls doubles with his 24' camper and four seater UTV+trailer behind it. It's quite the rig once it's all hooked up. I will snap of a picture of next time we go but it looks like this but with a little bigger camper and bigger UTV:
