That was for the original 2014 truck they build that had the smaller tank. Still not a full double in capacity, but journalism is all about sensationalism.

I would bet a huge chunk of that cost is the hours put into the interior.

 

It would have to be made of baby seal hides for it to be that much of an expense.

 

The labor would cost more than the material. I imagine the labor cost is being overcharged as well.
