1985 4 runner

This 4 runner is for sale locally here. What do you guys think it has alot of extras but still not sure if its worth 7500 or not.

 

What are the specs?

 

Lockers 5.29 gears and more wish I could remember everything but I will have to ask him to txt it all to me.

 

Its the last year of a solid axle in them and the first year of efi. It looks like dual t case as well. it could be worth that or more depending on what parts he used and the condition of the body and frame.

 

1985 Toyota 4Runner SR5 22re 5 spd if it had power windows and locks it would be the most rare 4runner toyota built. Last year of the straight axel first year of the EFI. Stock, clean, low miles they can go for double that. It’s probably worth $7500. I’ve seen 1986-89’s in worse condition sale for $6-10k recently.

 

Nice so a good find if the body and frame is as good as it seems to be in pics ?

 

But I did just look it has hand crank windows not sure about the locks

 

If you like the mods they have done and it’s something you’ve been looking for. Yes. It seems to be in the mid to upper end of fairly priced in the current market.

 

Yea something to do little off road in amd get the kids out. Can't afford a 4 seater rzr at this time. Lol

 

It’s not power locks/door. Still an 85 SR5 EFI. Cool classic runner and still rare to see them for sale.

 

Looking at the pictures closer it looks like maybe it’s a base model with an added alt/tilt on the dash. There doesn’t look to be the tach gauge or the SR5 seats. If it’s a 22r not a 22re and it’s a base with mods to look like a SR5 it’s still a cool 4runner but not as rare. Looks capable and fun to get the Family out to make some memories.

 

I would agree, no tach, and no cloth seats. definitely the base model..
