I bought Bilstein 5100s and 2 boss shims. 1st is if I go with 5100s on middle setting and a shim on both sides will I be level or nose high and will it mess with the TSS? Or go middle setting on the 5100s and have some rack and will it mess with TSS? Pics of both would be great.

Anything more than 2” up front and you will be nose high. As long as you are level/ slight rake you won’t have any issues. I have a 2/1 on my 18’ and have had zero issues with the TSS.

Just get some shackles for the rear to keep rake. It will ride better with new shackles as well.

I am gonna go with middle setting and a shim on each side. Hopefully I get a good look.

How’d this turn out for you?? You got any pics?? I’m thinking about doing the same thing. I might get the 6112s set at 1.9 but they are a lot more money then just getting 5100s with CB shims.

@GATORthaBEAST I love the level look. Not to aggressive but just my style.

I just installed a 2" leveler and no issues with the tss 200+ miles.

5100 bottom setting with tuff country 2" leveler with drop axle / 0" rear

As for the out the box compression and rebound comparison OEM with 2K vs 5100. The 5100 is significantly more superior in both rebound and compression. After installing it and driving it around town and driving it where I normally white knuckle due to the bad frequency on a certain bridge. Almost bounced me off the road doing 65 mph, posted speed limit. With the 5100, 50psi tire, and 30psi air springs, the ride is firm, but not back breaking firm. Oem tire pressure recommendation, 5 psi air spring will be another test.

Looks good I did 5100’s on top setting and 1.5” shackles on rear. Rides way better imo and no issues with my 19 TSS.

Just did my ‘18 with 6112 top setting (2.5”) & 5160 rear. No other changes. Slight nose high but no issues with my TSS

Did you do any aftermarket tint?? I like the look of yours too. If you did what percentage on front and back? Ceramic or Regular? Thanks bud!

Sorry I missed this question, not level there is a slight rake, not sure of the exact height since I did not measure before or after but I am guessing at least 2.75 of lift.

It is 5% on the rear windows and 30% on the front 2 Windows. It is regular not ceramic, I also had a 5% eyebrow on the front.

I’m looking to add that same 6112/5160s on my 16’ tundra . I’m also adding a toytec shackle to help level the rear.
