I'm new on the forum, however, I have owned first and seconded tundras as well as a Tac TRD. I am waiting for the 1794 Hybrid (6.5 short bed) to hit the dealerships anywhere east of the Mississippi. I will trade my 2018 RAM 3500 dually and plan to tow a small airstream with the Tundra. Toyota says not to look for them till mid-March at the dealerships, and they are NOT taking any pre-orders for this model. :-(

Early fall at the earliest is what I'm hearing from my dealer and expect a $10K bogie with the hybrid - not to mention any market availability premiums.

You can get on a list for your dealer, but if someone is willing to pay more, it won't help at all.

If it were a $10k option, I don't know how they would expect to compete with Ford's $5k Hybrid option.

    To much to list:)
It just isn’t the Tundras. Have a couple friends looking at Chevy vehicles with lots of HP. They have found a couple on lots but they are waiting chips and parts with no date in sight. Also was told one dealer has a 20K Market Adjustment added to sticker price!!! A 20k mark up just because??? Crazy times folks!! Crazy times!!!!

This is misleading, the hybrid will be available in March, toyota plant starts building them in January. Lots of folks on lists at dealerships for hybrids- I would call around and find one with a low list. I am #1 at my dealership for a platinum or 1794 hybrid 6.5 4x4..... with zero market adjustment. Both dealers in town refuse to go above MSRP on these trucks and PLENTY of dealers around the country not doing mark ups. Also that hybrid number is absurd, it will be at most $5k, realistically $3k

It wont be $10k, $5k would be a stretch, $3k is realistic

(the plant will start making the hybrid in Jan) does that mean hybrid allocations will show up in the Toyota management system January?

Going off what a plant worked said in the Facebook group- they will start production sometime in Jan, but won’t be to dealers till March
