Hi! I have searched a bit for this but I’m looking for 1794 trim guidance. My seat heater stopped working and I was looking for a video or something to get an idea of how complicated this is. The passenger side still works. The light fir driver side still works.
    Thank you!!

    Thanks!

I read through most of that. I talked to one mechanic, not a dealer, and they were saying some of the tundras you have to cut the stitching to get the heater out. Just wondering if that’s the case for the 1794. Seems strange it quit as it’s a 2020. But I did have it on constantly. My back needs it!

Is it the seat bottom and back that don't work?
They seem to be different parts, but they look wired in series.

I would bet there is a break in the heating element.
Even more so since you used it a lot.
Removing the cover might be more difficult if you have ventilation, I'm not sure.

But the cover itself should be removable.
I installed aftermarket seat heaters in my SR5 and it wasn't that hard.
Release the elastic straps on the bottom, and there should be zippers on the sides.
You will need hog ring pliers and extra hog rings to get it off and back on.
    Something like this.

Both sides are on the same circuit, so there aren't separate fuses.
You might want to try testing the Z1 connector under the seat with the ign on and make sure it's getting power under the seat.
It will be pin 1 the lime green wire.
It should be hot with just the IGN on,

    Good luck..
