I've been on here a while and not done this yet so I figured Id get one started. Ill add to this as I do more with the truck.
Im coming from a heavily built 1999 landcruiser 100 series and intend to do the same with this.

This will be one long post. I always forget to take pics and document things but here's what I was able to come up with.

    The day I got it.

    IMG_0344.jpg

First camping trip with a temporary rack

    IMG_0356.jpg

Didnt take long to order wheels and tires. Surprisingly 315/70/17 fit with no lift.

Blacked out the mirror caps and got black door handles. Did the grill at some point after this.

Then the good stuff showed up

Took a Saturday night to get it done.

    The end result!

The first real test was hunting and it did great!

    IMG_0652.jpg

Got the rack on and tent mounted

    IMG_1161.jpg

In order to still use the bed cover I notched the frame to allow the rack tabs to mount to the deck rail system. The cover also mounts to it. It clears the posts and rolls up fine!

    IMG_1401.jpg

Installed the Vland headlights. Much better than the old ones.

    IMG_1717.jpg

    Added the TRD PRO grill

    Thats it for now!

It’s been great so far. They are a tad stiff on fast impacts so I do wish I had spent the extra $ on the adjustable version but otherwise I love them.

Finally got the SPC uca’s on. And decided to try the falken wildpeak at3w instead of the usual k02.

Added the heritage badge to the grill. Almost looks factory imo.

Made some quick mounts for my tred 1100s. Just some aluminum bar stock and carriage bolts but it works great for $30. Just need to find a way to lock them.

Great build. I keep seeing people run snorkels and it makes me want one.
