That's $illy. That car is going to be so readily available in just a few months down the road. On top of that I don't know why anyone would buy one at some inflated price (or even MSRP) with the release of the new C8.

I prefer the mk5 over the new C8, i'm a big fan of turbo I6 motors. If I were to buy a NA mid engine car, I'd want it to rev past 6600 rpms. Just personal preference.

MK5 as in a 5+ year old VW??
What mid engine sports car are you touching for $60K brand new that even comes close to the initial performance numbers of the C8? Revs or not that's the selling point.

No, MK5 as the 2020 Supra which I think is a great car. Previous Supra was the MK4.
I'm not touching a mid engine car for $60k but my preference is the higher RPMs from a NA engine, like the NSX and for a little more $ the NSX can be owned. I didn't say the C8 isn't a good deal, if I'm going to be driving a NA sports car, I prefer the higher RPM's.

Meanwhile my local dealer had their first one listed at 3k UNDER MSRP lol.

I also love everyone acting like the C8 makes the car obsolete based on price. Putting aside the markup some dealers will out on those, good luck finding one at their unicorn $59,995 price with zero added options. Just adding the Z51 performance package you would want takes the price to $65k. Most of these will easily be in the $70k-$85k+ range easily. Not that’s a bad price for the performance but it’s not like the magically $59,995 number suddenly makes all cars in the $60k range obsolete.

The C8 does kinda make the Supra obsolete and given time both will easily be had lower than sticker. Outside of looks, which is preference and personal choice, the C8 is going to be a better performing car in every measurable aspect of performance.

Is it me or is Chevy giving actual number increases for the performance exhaust being offered for the C8 a first from a mfg? Toyota isn't vocal about performance numbers with the TRD exhaust and the PRO comes with it.

At that price it would have to be used, but it would still make a hell of a down payment.
