So everyone seems to purchase 1.25" Bora/Spidertrax spacers. I noticed Bora sells a 1", which would bring my TRD Pro wheels from +60 to about +35 offset. Anybody else use a 1" spacer without stud issues?

IIRC, 1" is the lowest you can go to safely.

I've been thinking about going with the 1" bora's. I think it would bring the wheels out just right without putting to much extra stress on the bearings. I've measured the studs on mine. They are right at one inch on the front and close to 1 1/8 on the back. I have the regular 3rd gen trd wheels(same wheel just not all black) they have a pretty good recess between the lug holes. So, I'm pretty sure 1" will fit. You can always trim the studs it's not that hard to replace them if you have to. Personally I don't want to have to do that. Call wheelers offroad and ask them. From what I've seen they have the best price on bora and they're black. I had spidertrax on my 1st gen with polished wheels and the blue stuck out like a sore thumb. With black wheels, you wouldn't even know the boras were there.

Why didn't you like them? Did wheelers charge you a restocking fee?

Hmm, so you had to much crap flying out with just an inch? I was wondering about that. Mine is black and I don't want it to get all chipped up either. Cement is bad ass, that's my favorite color.

I got the 1.25" spidertrax because I didn't want to have to worry about trimming studs. I do not know if you have to or not. Just being safe and supporting a local Colorado company.

Nice looks good. That's probably same tire and size I'm gonna run on mine. Decided I wanna keep stock wheels. That size seems like be perfect with stock wheels.

I have 1" BORA spacers just for the rear.

The studs were too long. I had to shave the factory studs about 3mm for the wheels to be seated correctly.

I too just discovered this last week about the rear studs. Upsetting as I saw on some website that the 1" spacers would work. Instead of shaving my studs, I opted to send them back for 1.25" spacers.

I have 1.25" spacers with 295/70/18 on TRD wheels and no CMC needed, but it is pretty close.

Yeah but Dave's got wheels that are probably 1.6" further out than yours.

I have 1" bora spacers on all four corners and I didn't have to do anything to the studs. Everyone of them fit perfect with no trimming.

    Yep, for sure ...

When I was on my OEM wheels, 1.25" spacers are no problem. But once you go aftermarket wheels that are already a +20 offset ... Problems!

The 1" spacers are only an issue at the rear if your wheels don't have some sort of space/recess cut out within the wheels that allow for the studs to stick into. My Fuels are complete flush on the inside.

So word to the wise ... Learn from my mistake. If your wheels don't have the recess on the inside of your wheels for studs. Don't go less than 1.25" spacers in the rear. It won't work unless you don't mind cutting/shaving your studs.

I must have gotten lucky, I have the stock wheels with the spacers on the rear and I have no clearance issues.

Yeah, that's because the OEM wheels have the recess space I speak of. If you ever plan on replacing your wheels, make sure the next set do too. Otherwise you'll have issues on the rear wheels.

Thanks for finding this out the hard way for me! Haha.

I'm running 1.25" Spidertrax all around but bought a set of 1" BORAs for all four corners. I guess I'll just keep the 2 spare spacers of each size as spares in case I ever break a spacer. I'll leave the 1.25" on in the rear and change the front to 1".

That's what I did ... And I was perfectly happy until I decided to add my Bushwacker flares. Then all of sudden my +20's started to look tucked in.

Happy to be of service ... Not really, but I figure might as well help others avoid my mistakes.

Come to think of it ... With the bad ass driving you do, I'm surprised you even run spacers.

I see people are saying the 1.25" will clear, and the 1" spacer will fit on oem wheels. Has anyone ran a 1" spacer on trd pro wheels? Just making sure the fitment will be fine without any chopping

In general, 1" spacers will clear the front and 1.25" for the rear.

If you're running the stock wheels, because they have the recessed indentations on the mounting face, you should be able to run .75" in the front and 1" at rear.
