06 Tundra , breaks went out ,then 3 miles left frunt wheel fell off

    I was hauling a utility trailer just turned off hwy and breaks went to floor but did pump up, made it to friend home unhooked trailer with electric breaks and had no more break problem, drove to mechanic shop asked him what that could be ,he said must be coming from trailer, so how could that be , never had that happen before? so drove 3 miles just pulled into a driveway real slow no bumps in road and left wheel fall off lower ball joint so my question is could that be why I lost my breaks ? from loose ball joint or other problem? I just had a bad feeling some thing was going to happen
