First post, so forgive my ignorance. I’ve searched as much as I could and it seems quite complex so I thought I’d ask for some clarity.
I’m considering buying a 2019 Tundra SR5 and want to make it look like the TRD Pro except with better suspension (and a double cab with normal sized bed). My question is I like the TRD Pro grill from the 2017 better than the honeycomb 2019. Can I replace the grill from the SR5 to the older style TRD pro grill?
I understand that there are issues with the TSS in the past doing this mod. Is this a problem still?
I’m not trying to create problems on a brand new truck just to get a cool front end. But if it’s not too big a deal, I’d like to do it!

Welcome from NC! Toyota did not produce a PRO in 2018 so I assume you are referring to the 2017 style PRO grill. If so, the answer is yes. You can install the 2017 PRO grill on a newer model. You will just need a relocation bracket for the TSS sensor. There are several members who have done this. Just use the search function in the forum to gather the information you need.
Post some pics when you pick up your Tundra! You know we love pics here!!

Thanks! I’ve searched quite a bit and learned a lot. I guess my question is more specific than what I posted. Is there an issue with adopting a 2017 pro grill with the 2019 tss of a SR5? What adapter are you using for the 2019 TSS on the 17 grille? Just don’t wanna deal with messing up perfect function for improved form on an expensive truck.
    Thanks again!

There are a million threads associated with this. There are a few members who can assist you with the relocation bracket for the TSS sensor. Most do not have issues with the TSS system after the change. Again, it can be done but your best bet may be utilizing the 19’ PRO grill.
