    I was watching that. :spending:

Older Toyota trucks are classics and becoming antiques. That’s going to be 30 years old in 2 years. 1981’s and older are 40+
    1976 is 45 years = antique

My 87 4R, went 285k miles from 87-2007 and finally sold it to a local kid... Damn I miss that thing.

Speculators, too much $$ and no great investment ideas lead to prices like this.

As an “investment” it’s crazy. Yes - it’s probably the lowest mileage and nicest one out there - but whose buying outside of a small group of fans?

Every so often a “non collectible” vehicle sells for several thousand more than it should - just because it’s the nicest example available. More power to the buyer - it’s speculative..it may hit 100k next time on the block - but after marketing/fees the buyer may break even in the sale.

That's what I was thinking. Sure, it's cool and all, but some poor bastard gave up 28 years of joy and fun driving it in exchange for a little over $1,000 a year.
