Hey everyone, I’m a long-time Toyota driver, live in Edmonton AB, I love bbq & coffee and vacillating between over-thinking and not thinking at all.

I’ll start by name-dropping my Toyota history (in order purchased)

2011 - Sequoia Platinum (my first Toyota - I sure miss her!)
2008 - Highlander Ltd. Hybrid (still driving)
2008 - Yaris 2 dr hatchback (for my son)
    2011 - Tundra SR5 double cab
2005 - Echo 4 door (for my daughter)

Which brings me to my latest purchase/project… 2001 Tundra Access Cab. I kinda fell in love when I saw it, like a lame puppy. Picked up on Friday, drove home (160km) no issues. Yesterday, while on the freeway, I hear a clunk and suddenly lose power to the axle… thus begins my journey into restoration land!

Never done a project vehicle before and I’m not exactly sure what I’m going to do with it yet so I’ll be looking for plenty of advice!

That was fast. As if something was held together with bubble gum. That sucks. But congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum. Looking forward to future updates.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! You definitely need to start a build thread to document and share your progress. Looks like an interesting project!
