Jim, your comprehensive breakdown on the Toyota specs is why I joined this forum.
First time on ANY forum, so having difficulty navigating.
Was ready to buy tires and rims, but may have a "cam tower oil leak". Not quite sure what to do at this point.
Back to tires and rims, if I run 275/70R18 and want to keep the tires inside the fender wells what is the min /max off set I should have?
      Thanks in advance.

Hey Jim! I saw you said you posted a DIY post for the Tacoma shifter and boot install. Do you have the link or could you do a DIY on it?? Thanks brother!

        Very simple.
        Get a Tacoma TRD shifter
        Boot from Ebay
        Pull silver trim off
        Remove original handle
        Slip boot on, tuck in
        Clip silver trim back
        Screw on new handle

Hey I’m sure you get this a lot but I think it’s awesome. I came across your shift knob and boot post. I want to do the same set up. I was just wondering if you cut off some of the threaded rod so that the knob itself would sit lower. The photo looks like it’s shorter but it could just be the angle of the photo.

Thanks. I didn't cut the shifter rod.
