I’ve got a 2018 with 24k miles. I have the factory skid plate but don’t care because I get the free oil changes until 70k miles. At that time I plan to swap the factory skid plate with an RCI plate which will enable me to have access to the oil filter/plug without removing the entire skid plate. I know some are loyal Amsoil followers; curious for your experience. I plan to keep this truck forever, so I’m okay spending more for better lubrication if it’s worth it.

I've followed others experience here with Amsoil. I have 8 qts of Amsoil I recently ordered to go in with next oil change with OEM filter.

I am sure it is good or great. I think you get similar results with Mobil 1. Grandfather used Mobil 1 got 300k miles out of a slant 6 Chrysler years back, swore by it.

Regular changes with filter is key.

    Not nearly enough room here!
Everything we own that has an engine/transmission, gets Amsoil since 1990. Our old 04 Pilot has 351,000 miles on it with stock Trans, Engine and Radiator and Amsoil was it's first oil change. All filters are Amsoil brand + everything gets delivered into my garage by my dear Amsoil Lady! I use their Quick Shot gas treatment and Grease for Marine/ Gears and Bearings. $20 a year(Membership) saves me better than a hundred bucks a year off of Retail Price.
