Ok so we have the Shotgun Plumbing truck here from Florida to do 4 Sundown ZV5 15 inch sub and 2 Sundown 4000 watt mono blocks . We did the front stage about a year ago when he had 2 zv5 15s and 2 seats in the back . We will also be doing some Hertz Audio Speakers firing out the rear doors when opened for tailgating . I will post pics as it progresses . We have done more custom audio installs than anyone . If you need help designing your dream system or something budget friendly we got you . www.tech12volts.com here are a few pics I snapped of the truck along the build so far as well as the old build pics and yes KIYA the shop dog had to photobomb . If you come see us KIYA will be your next best friend zv15 wall 4.jpg zv15 wall.jpg zv15 wall 3.jpg zv15 wall 2.jpg

Have you ever done a blow thru box (cut a hole in the back wall and build a box in the bed)?

    Thread revival I realize....

HOW did you cut the rear "60" portion of the seat and more importantly attach it to the floor? The only thing on the drivers rear side to attach to would be the seat belt mount. Did you guys fabricate a custom bracket and get the cut seat reupholstered?

    ANY pics of that side????

    Holy thread revival, Batman!

I bet he just got another 40 seat and bolted it down.

Impossible from what I can see (I have an unbolted 40 seat in the shop staring at it) as I can't see where he would mount the left side (if you stare at the seat from the front) to the floor/wall (only thing there is seat belt mounts).

The picture LOOKS like he actually cut and reupholstered a 60 into a 40 as the drivers side (right side looking from front) looks like the original angle/etc of the 60 on that side.

    Frustrating....

You drill into the floor and bolt it down. Could even use nutserts to make it feel more OEM.

Hell no unless whomever sits in that seat likes the "death seat". The OEM mounting holes are reinforced. Nutserts would pull out in a crash regardless of what you do/thin sheet metal.

If I could get James to post another picture/share details I can figure this out....the angled picture has me thinking it's a cut 60 (he mentioned on facebook that they "cut it", but WHAT that really means is a mystery...the only obvious cut I see is the box portion of the 40 that the 60 used to sit on top of).
