    Looking at getting ball and bar, class4 Curt w 10000/1000 rating to give more capacity over my older class 3s I have. What drop would you reco? 2 or 4 "?
    2018 off road stock....

    are you talking about the ball mount for your hitch? if so, a 2" drop is typical.

    Yeah ball mount. Thanks for help. I have a landscape trailer but was thinking of renting a small bobcat type. rental company said about 6000 pounds including the trailer. I have no idea about height etc.

    So I wanted to get a new ball mount and ball that will far exceed that weight. I think my ball mounts now are rated for 5000
