I am a proud owner of a 2004 SR5 Tundra. My first full size truck. Sold my 1995 Jeep Cherokee SE. Any maintenance suggestions? Recommended oil and filters? It has the 4.7 V8. (83k miles).

Came with leather, pwr windows and doors, bed liner and end caps, BBC rims, JBL Stereo, rear window goes up and down, fog lights and hitch

    Welcome!
Is you haven't already - diff oil change, oil, tranny (?- ck manual and let a dealer do it...I've heard it can only be done there?)
    Tire rotation
Check all other fluids, rotors etc

Post up pix! Glad you made the change, the Tundra won't let u down!

I prefer to DIY. Love the room in the engine bay... i was just curious if there was a brand oil that people preferred in their rides like jeep 4.0 use shell rotella

Mobile 1 is a great synthetic as is the Rotella T6.
83k is nothing on these engines, however the motor is fully broken in with its own unique levels of oil blow-by and leak down. Part of the tolerances involving oil consumption have been set already based on the type of oil that has been used in the engine up to now.
SOMETIMES users report increased oil consumption when switching from standard oil to synthetic. It's a minor issue, but one to aware of......and in my very humble opinion, the vast majority of your engine wear has already taken place in your truck....use a good quality oil, change it as needed and you'll be fine with the cheaper, easier to find non-synthetic.
