I would love to make the back seat fold flat for sleeping. No one is ever going to ride back there. Couldn't do it myself, but if one of you guys Have done it I would appreciate hearing about it.

Haven't seen that done before. Maybe you could get some fabricated hinges to allow that. I'm curious if anyone else has seen this too.

My wife just sleeps lengthwise on the seat during road trips. If you’re not gonna use the seats ever you could always take them out, then build a flat platform back there for “storage”. Can put stuff underneath and then flat area for sleeping above

I know goose gear has done a rear seat delete mod for the Taco's, I wonder if they have done it for Tundra's?

Unfortunately, that only works on DoubleCabs. Can't remember who it was, but someone in the Socal BS thread put some totes in the footwells and then put a board over the seat to make flat and put a mattress on top. Bet you @Sunnier knows who.

Hmm, some sort of telescoping, slide-out mod that would let the back slide down and the seat slide forward would be one helluva mod. I'll buy whoever does it first a beer.

if you're going to sleep in the truck i highly recommend the over the door window screens... crack the back door windows for some ventilation and you have a very comfortable and bug free setup...

CF87BB94-5318-4041-888B-8D32D84F99DF.jpg Thanks for everybody’s help. I’ve done the air bed and sent it back to Amazon. I’ve done the futon that’s too long with the plastic totes and it’s worked the best. I slept in it two nights during the 2017 fires in Ventura County at the ranch where I board my mule. It wasn’t horrible.

That insect screen is ingenious. Where do you get it?
