I have researched this topic to death and get all kinds of answers. I'm putting my fate in you all, lol. I am looking at the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 and it only comes in a 275/60/20 or 295/60/20 (I don't think a 305/55/20 is even an option?). I will be leveling the truck this weekend with 3" in the front and 1.5 in the back. Can anyone please tell me which size they think would be best? I will be using the stock limited wheels (20") that are in my profile picture. Here is a link to the tire I am considering ...

    Thanks so much guys.

Judging by the width and diameter of the tires I don't think you will have a problem. People run 295/70/18's which are even wider and about the same in diameter with 2" of lift.

I'm sure someone that runs 20" rims will chime in.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. Are you saying you think the 295/60/20 would fit, or the 275's?

the 295s should fit. The 295/60/20s are actually an inch or so shorter than the 295/70/18s that you see so many people putting on their Pros on here. And the width is exactly the same.

Based on those wheel specs I would say both should fit.

According to the website the 275/60/20 is a 33.1" diameter by 10.9" wide which would probably fit even without a lift.

The 295/60/20 is a 34.1" diameter by 11.3" wide which should fit as well with your lift. I base this on the fact that guys with stock 18" rims run 295/70/18's with no problem at all and they are 34.3" by 11.8".

I'd probably go with the 295's, worst case scenario you have to add some spacers. Seriously doubt it though.

    Shouldn't be an issue.

    I'd run 295/65/20 if I were you, 35.1 x 11.5 on a 20. Why are you putting a 1.5 lift in the rear?

I'm running 295/60/20 on 2.5" of lift...had some trimming and heat gun work to do in the front bc of rubbing. But, that may be bc of my wheel offset (+18). If I had a less aggressive offset, I probably wouldn't of had any issues, IDK. Your stock wheels are a +60 offset, so they'll be sucked into the wheel well about 1.5" more than mine.

I am thinking about doing a tire of: LT285/65R20 on a wheel of: 20x9 with a leveling kit 3/1 (need a recommendation on the best leveling kit).

    Will this set up work?

Will I need to doing trimming?

Anyone know how much to install if I buy the tires, wheels, and kit separate?

Level front lift, duel exhaust, front and rear bumpers, front and rear lights, Fuel 20" Avenger wheels, Nitto G2's 285/65/20's.

Here is that exact setup you were asking about: 285/65R20 on Fuel Avenger 20 x 9's w/+20. Granted, I have an aftermarket front bumper but I believe these would fit even a stock bumper. I have a 2.5 level kit, cost was $300.00 installed and I think all level kits, except for adjustable shocks, are basically the same. Included in the installed price was a front end alignment which should be done after leveling.

I went with 285's because I did not want the tires sticking out from the sides of the truck. Mine stick out perhaps .5" with factor fender flares which is maxed for my liking. Tires are Nitto Terra G2's that ride like being on a cloud, very nice. The closest point of clearance on the front backside of the tire is approx .5" with the wheel turned; back end tires were no problem at all w/stock setup. I did removed the front mudflaps.

Hope this helps in your search for the perfect setup.
