I didn’t change out my tweeters when I did the rest last year. One of them is getting some static now, so I’m going to replace them.

How hard is it to do for someone with zero experience doing audio themselves?

Which ones fit in a 2017? I’d prefer something I can get at Best Buy, since I have a few hundred dollars in store credit there.

Hey Jason. I don't think it's too tough but I haven't done it either. I just ordered new speakers including tweeter from tech12volts as part of a group buy. I will be getting them soon so I will be able to take a look.
The tweeters your talking about are in that little triage sail panel on the door right?
That panel pops off pretty easily as far as I recall from removing the door panel. I'd imagine you can just cut the tweeter wire and remove the tweeter and take it to compare to something the same size. Also crutchfield has a place you can enter your vehicle and it will tell you if a certain speaker fits in the OEM locations.
If you can find a 2 ohm tweeter that would probably be best buy I think those are hard to find.
Tech12volts uses JL audio C1 tweeters as replacement tweeters in some applications so I bet those fit. I will do some research and get back in touch with you on this.

Thank you sir. I’m actually talking about in the corners of the dash. I don’t have any in the sail.

Oh ok. The dash corners should be even easier. Do you have a center channel? What's your budget? Those speakers in the group buy for $110 are for right, left, center and a really good deal. If you just have right and left I think I have a good solution for you for under $100 and a plan B solution for about $50

There’s a speaker grill in the middle, but not sure if there’s actually a speaker under it.

As for budget, the group buy is a great deal. Just wanted to use my Best Buy rewards points. I’ve got about 250.00 bucks there.

I’d actually jump on the group buy, but after my purchases this week I need to stay off the wife’s radar for a while.

Oh we can definitely figure something out with those best buy bucks. Let me scour their website and find something. But let me know if there is a speaker in the center of the dash. I have an idea for that too. That grill pops off really easy, no screws hold it in.
