So I got stuck for the first time last night. Very thick, heavy mud. Had to be pulled out with chain and tractor. Definitely getting a 4x4 next time I purchase a tundra.

May as well just trade in for a 4x4 now. You know its gonna happen eventually. Just do it now. Saves you the hassle of moving the maxtrax and other mods you're gonna buy onto the 4x4 later.

My suggestion is a front mount hitch and then a winch that can connected to front or rear.

I’ve always liked that option. Except most the front mount hitches I see stick down pretty low.

I mean a front mount winch is awesome! It looks cool too. But having one that you could move to the front and the back is the best of both worlds. Also you don’t have to drive around with the weight of that thing messing up your spring rates.

I just want the ability to roll down some trails and take in the scenery. But every time I see their stuff it makes me want to hit them at 70 mph. Then I look at my truck and think “wow that’s gonna take a lot of work”!

It’s a group of dudes from California. Most of them have it under their avatar. They all have bad ass trucks and use them. They hit the trails hard.

There is also many other trucks on here that are ridiculously modified and impressive. You’ve got speed glampers, over landers and pretty much pre-runners. I wish!
